EQUESTRIAN
Manzanita Consulting can help equestrian property developers, horseshow venues, and landowners understand their landscape, navigate environmental questions and identify community concerns. We help land managers make practical decisions that keep horse welfare at the center of the conversation.
Helping equestrian properties work with the landscape and community.
Equestrian facilities, developments and show grounds bring together horses, people, land, water, infrastructure, business, and community. A holistic approach to these ever-evolving components can create an equestrian facility that is not just an excellent place for our horses, but an asset to the community and region.
Manzanita works with equestrian developers, horse show venues, landowners and other stakeholders to address the natural resource and community dimensions of these complex properties. From water and habitat to wildfire resilience, conservation, development planning, and community relationships, Manzanita helps turn environmental challenges into practical strategies with our horse's needs at the center of decision making.
Planning for natural resources can mean:
-
Lower water and maintenance costs
-
Native landscapes that require less irrigation
-
Greater wildfire and climate resilience
-
Engagement with neighboring communities
-
Fewer regulatory questions
